Neural therapy
Regulationstherapie geht unter die Haut
Neural therapy according to Dr. Huneke is considered a regulatory therapy. Procaine 1% is injected into the uppermost layer of the skin (intracutaneous injection). This activates regulatory processes at certain points by stimulating the autonomic nervous system.
The so-called wheal therapy can be used for a specific body region or as segment therapy. Neural therapy is preceded by a precise medical history and examination.
A special field of neural therapy is the treatment of so-called interference fields. From the point of view of neural therapists, these can be caused by scars, for example, and can be the cause of various symptoms. The intracutaneous injection of scars is part of neural therapy. Scars can, but do not always have to be a problem.
Mesotherapy
little – rarely – and in the right place
Mesotherapy was developed in the 1950s by the French physician Dr. Michelle Pistor. This method is an independent form of therapy that is composed of components of neural therapy, acupuncture and drug therapy.
Mixtures of medication are injected into the skin in extremely low doses as close as possible to the site of the disease using multiple microinjections. The resulting skin depot ensures a rapid and long-lasting therapeutic effect.
A special form of mesotherapy is the so-called smoking cessation injection.
