Our Osteopathie am Römer practice has been in existence for 16 years. That’s a bit of a tradition. When we started, there were very few practices in the city center and none of this size. Our therapists also have several years of professional experience.
Eight trained osteopaths work in our practice. The team facilitates the exchange of knowledge and experience and also offers vacation cover.
Our team includes staff who have completed advanced training in pediatric osteopathy and treat children and infants on a daily basis. Appointments can be offered for children from the age of 3 weeks.
All therapists are trained in fascial therapy according to the recognized Fascial Distortion Model (FDM). This makes us the largest fascia competence center in the Rhine-Main region. There are currently only two IC therapists (international certificate) in Hesse. One of them is the owner of Osteopathie am Römer and is therefore also authorized to work as a supervisor.
Our friendly reception is there for you every day. In addition to scheduling appointments, we are happy to answer any questions you may have in person or by telephone. As a further service, we offer online appointments via www.doctolib.de.
We see you as the expert for your complaints. You can provide us with important information about your complaints or treatment requirements. We find it important to understand you and your individual concerns in order to work together on the best possible therapy.
We always try to create a pleasant atmosphere for our patients and staff through our facilities. In a quiet location, you can look out from the waiting area onto a green area. Even the walk to the practice via the Römer with its new historic old town, the Iron Footbridge or from the monastery can put you in the right mood for your treatment.
Our practice is located in the heart of Frankfurt. You can easily reach us by public transportation. For car drivers, the Dom parking garage is nearby. In our street there are parking spaces with parking ticket machines for one hour parking.
One of our therapists usually works Monday to Friday from 8 am to 8 pm. On many Saturdays we are available in the mornings.
To work legally as an osteopath, you must be a non-medical practitioner or doctor. All therapists in our company are complete alternative practitioners (complete alternative practitioner)
Our experienced employees have completed various advanced and further training courses. As a result, they also have different specializations. Reception will be happy to help you find the right therapist for you.
We take our time for you! One treatment session is scheduled for one hour. Treatment on the patient therefore takes between 45 and 55 minutes, depending on the techniques used.
All our therapists are members of the VOD, the Association of Osteopaths in Germany. This information is important for many health insurance companies for the reimbursement of costs.
We have been a training practice for many years. We have long had a cooperation agreement for students at Fresenius University of Applied Sciences. Trained FDM therapists can do the work shadowing required for the IC examination (international certificate) in our practice. There are currently only two IC therapists in Hesse. One of them is the owner of Osteopathie am Römer and is therefore also authorized to work as a supervisor.
